What's up? My P-day is Friday, so that's why I'm writing today! So how have you guys been? The MTC is pretty fun! My Companion's name is Elder Cowan. He is from New Zealand. The plane ride was long! Pure exhaustion is how I would describe my first few days at the MTC, and now that I think about it, that's probably how I would describe the rest of the time that I've been here too! So they have been feeding us Fillipino food, which means plain steamed rice for breakfast lunch and dinner, with some sort of meat sauce. The breakfast is usually rice with ketchup and two off-colored hot dogs. But they give us peanut butter and bread for breakfast too haha I Usually throw some apples in between the slices of bread to like a sandwich, and it is surprisingly good, so today on my first P-day I bought some jam at this American store, apparently it's like the most expensive grocery store in the Philippines because they can charge whatever they want to the starving American missionaries. We also had a deep fried fish, head tail, eyeballs and all. Although it looked like the most disgusting thing I have ever seen I'm my life, it didn't taste bad at all! So its very humid here. In the buildings, its not bad, but outside its pretty humid. The rain here is weird, one second it wont be raining at all, and the next it will be pouring! So I'm gonna try to attach all the photos I sent, but, the city is definitely a lot different than America. There are horrible shacks everywhere where people live, people sleeping on the sidewalks, and trash all over. We went to the immigration office today, which took like an hour and a half, and where we went just happened to be all in my mission so it was a little preview! The drivers here are insane! They literally are driving within feet of each other and people just like walk through traffic to cross the road or to hop on a jeepeneese which are everywhere! My companion is really cool, we teach really well together! Anyways, there is so much to write in such a small amount of time, so goodbye, I Love you! Please send this to Hallie Melissa Natalie and Brittney and Becky and Grandma/grandpa and whoever else wants to get it, edit all the errors I made before you put it on my blog. I love the Gospel, Its true, and I love all of you!
